For a brief moment in 2011, Genlevel was a Bandcamp superstar, burrowing his way to the top of the daily chart for Bandcamp downloads on the release of his début album. Wind back a decade and a half - as an active member of Australia's legendary Clan Analogue collective, Ben Askins becomes a founding member of Infusion - Australian techno pioneers who go on to garner international acclaim. Wind forward to 2013 and a new album is in the works. Built on Askins' usual electronic foundations, the sound has diversified to include more explicit nods to classic acid, house, and even kraut influences, creating a more individual sound out of the blend of these source materials with his well documented understanding of the techno template.

'Back 2 Basics', the new album, is proudly brought to you by 4-4-2 Music. And it's there to be owned on full 180g vinyl glory.
