Digi Youth Theatre is a group of ridiculously passionate and creative people who aim to empower Brisbane’s indigenous young people through collaborative theatre.

In 2013, we will workshop, write and produce a dynamic production that shares the stories of indigenous students living in Brisbane. This performance will be showcased at the Powerhouse, giving the young people the opportunity to be part of a unique and professional production and further enhancing the benefits of this project.

The venue is booked, the website is up & running and we start meeting with the youth involved as early as February. We have been fortunate to receive some funding for the venue, but we need $2000 more for production and operational costs to ensure the goals of Digi Youth Theatre can be met. We want to give the indigenous youth of Digi Youth Theatre the most rewarding experience pozible. 

We hope that Digi Youth Theatre can help to create mutually beneficial social change in Australia.

Bonus Goal to strive for: Raising $4000 will allow DYT13 to record, publish & stream the production so that supporters and the kids' families living in remote communities could see the play. 

* DYT runs on the enthusiasm of our volunteer mentors/creatives; we assure you that 100% of the funds raised will go towards this project.
