The S.S. SingSong is a karaoke caravan – a karaokevan – a crooning cruise ship hosted by captains Betty Day Visize, Billy Ocean and Gloria Aurora.
As the sun goes down this small caravan transforms in to an ocean cruise liner – a pleasure ship of the high seas.
The ain’t a soul on the high seas that doesn’t love to get loose on the mic with their first mates - the intimacy of the S.S. SingSong unleashes many a diva as groups of friends cram in for the cheesy daggy goodness of karaoke.
The S.S. SingSong is a micro venue that plans to sail the wild oceans of the Australian festival circuit this summer; we just need a bit of a hand to get afloat.
The S.S. SingSong ONE is moored in Alice Springs and has seen too many rough seas to make it on the summer voyage so we’re looking for support to get the S.S. SingSong II on its way.
Your contribution will go towards the caravan rego, decking out in interior, collecting some extra ditties for the songbook and promoting the cruise ship around the ports.

Who?
The S.S.
SingSong is the vessel of Alice Springs based artist and producer Alex
Kelly. Alex produced the award winning Ngapartji
Ngapartji project with Big hART, directed the Queen of the Desert documentary for ABC2 TV and tour managed 9 piece
brass band Orchestra Del Sol’s
(Edinburgh) down under summer tour. S.S. SingSong is Alex’s way to share her love for music, collaboration and community fun times on the high seas.
