We are making a short film funded by the South Australian Film Corporation called ‘A Small Town Problem’. But we have a problem of our own! Help us make the film by donating funds to allow us to shoot on location in a real small town!
The story
After
a young boy accidentally shoots a stranger with his fathers gun, it is
left to the nonchalant townsfolk to cover it up as quickly as possible –
so they can get back to doing whatever it was that they were doing
before…

Why do we need money?
We
have received some funding from the South Australian Film Corporation, but to make this film we need
to shoot a few days on location in a REAL small town - which can be
expensive with travel and accommodation. We also need additional funds
to use a fantastic camera that will make the film look beautiful!
Funds will go towards:
Travel to Iron Knob (4.5 hour drive with all crew vehicles plus equipment trucks)
Flights for 2 x interstate cast members
Accommodation for up to 17 crew and 15 cast in Whyalla for 1-2 nights
Catering for up to 35 people on location
Alexa Camera Hire for 9 Day shoot
We know it seems like a lot of money, but this is one BIG film - 9 day shoot, 15 actors, 50 extras, and 20 mins duration! So we need every $ we can get!
Your donation will help make this film the best it can be, and support emerging filmmakers to further their careers.
