Avunatari School RESTORATION PROJECT Malo, Vanuatu . October 8th-20th 2013.
In October 2013 we are returning to the small Island of Malo which is situated just off the coast of Santo Vanuatu to do further restoration on the school.

1. October will be stage 2 of the school restoration.
All funds raised for this project from pozible.com will go towards the purchase of roofing iron, paint, brushes & rollers, sealant also other materials needed to fix the roofs correctly. Also funds will cover the cost of material, transportation from the larger island and to pay some local people to assist.

2.The goal is to fix holes in the leaking roof, replacement of rusty iron sheets and ridge capping on the roofs and paint the roof of the 2 school buildings that were painted earlier in the year.

3. Further information.
a. In September 2012 we supplied sporting equipment and early learning books to the school and local kindergartens.
b. In January 2013 we painted the inside and outside of the school buildings blue.

4. Remote Island Aid History.
www.remoteislandaid.org was started in 2011 to assist schools, child education and communities in some of the worlds remote islands further their education and assist to develop future prospects, whether that is within their community, country or globally. At this stage we are small and lack funding to complete the many projects necessary to assist education on remote islands.

We believe that having an environment that encourages education is important so we have committed to helping the children of remote islands by completing projects like the Avunatari school restoration.

Stage 1 was completed in January with private funding and with the support of the residents of the Island of Malo.
