The Housewife is a Drama/Sci Fi short film we are making as part of the QPIX Raw Nerve initiative.

SYNOPSIS 

Eva, trapped by her controlling husband Xander, “for her own good”, takes matters into her own hands when she discovers the truth behind her captivity. What drastic actions will a housewife like Eva take, for freedom?

The Housewife, produced by Amanda Thompson, is a Queensland short film, and is currently in Pre-production. 

The award-winning creative team, including Director Robert Braiden and Cinematographer Richard Bell, are looking to make a film with high production values that will assist to catapult our careers to the next level. Telling a great story is where it begins and now we need to do it justice on screen. 

To keep our costs down, we are relying on our crew to work on this project pro bono, and we are establishing partnerships with local businesses to assist with locations and catering. However, the costs for this production still exceed our current funds so we are seeking to raise an extra $1,000 from you the generous, amazing, good-looking Pozible community.  

Your financial contribution will help to make this film fantastic and assist emerging Queensland filmmakers to show the world, and hopefully you, our skills. 

Your financial contribution will go towards keeping the lights on. We are filming in three different locations, and we need to pay for a lighting package to cover those three days of our shoot. Lighting equipment such a HMI Fresnels, Kino Flow and Blondies. Lighting is extremely important for our amazing visuals so please help keep the lights on for The Housewife! 

The money will also go towards a great camera and contribute to our Production Design. Every little bit helps, so please donate today.
