It was 4 years ago I finished my first design for Kookery.



It remains one of our customer favourites.

From a little idea, on a A3 page of paper, bubbles containing words that made me happy, like community, food, laughter, beauty and fun. I built my business and ideas around them.
Ultimately I want to make you laugh and make something beautiful for you. Life can be busy, so to pause to celebrate our daily rituals, gives us a chance to feel joy in that moment.

It has been a massive learning curve, I have gained more than a business, it has become part of my life, with wonderful customers, and amazing friends made along the way. Kookery has me designing, making, and learning how to own a small business and how to be a mum.

So in short I am asking you to reward yourselves with Kookery in advance of product arriving and you gorgeous people helping me reach a money target which I will use to put toward my upfront costs of producing them.
This is the time for a shift in my business to create more of what I know you want. The hardest thing is the massive outlays that come from quantity production.

So in funding this you are the FIRST people to have my new products and a couple of fun things we are putting together just for this project. (CHECK THE REWARDS.)

I have always felt a little worried about doing this BUT without this I'm a little stuck in the middle, and I now see it as a way to really get you guys involved in Kookery!

Here is an apron sample awaiting production, it feels like an eternity in the making and so pleased that by April we could be shooting new photos and uploading to our website.


Now it is time for this little business to put it's apron on and quirk the kitchen even more, and we need your help.

The main thing that could go wrong is, incorrect manufacturing of a product, we have limited this possibly, as we have had samples made and these only need small changes and the additional of tags and swing tags.

Secondly, the length of time to get here, there is always a possibility that things may take a little longer than you have been told. We have been advised to expect arrival into Australia in April and hope that this will not change, shipping internationally, involves customs and this from experience is usually a quick turnaround, as soon as you pay your Duty fees to have product enter the country.
We hope that delays will be minimal but if delays occur, it could delay shipment of your products you have rewarded yourself with, but I will make sure you are informed about when your parcels are on there way.
