Rosemary is an avant-garde short film inspired by the films of David Lynch, and visualises the experiences of a woman with Alzheimer's Disease from a surreal and disturbing perspective in an attempt to make the audience experience what it is like to suffer from crippling dementia.
The film will be 5 - 10 minutes long.
We are trying to raise money for the production budget, including:
- Hiring of equipment (camera, lights, grip etc.)
- Costumes and props.
- Location and insurance fees
The funding will be used for the production budget alone. I will be paying cast and crew out of my own pocket.
I intend to submit the film to 100 festivals world wide over a two year period.
