some success having signed publishing deals with two companies Skybound Entertainment (www.rrfmusic.com/skybound) and Boah Sounds (www.boahsounds.com). Clearly I have the talent (check out www.soundcloud.com/anesu-tichagwa hope you agree :) ) but the nature of these deals is such that I will only get payment for the tracks I have on their catalogues in like a year and well in the meant I need to eat (such is life). I've since learned that in the music industry there are smaller short term jobs that can get you paid and I have to take some of these on sights like www.hitlicense.com and www.brodjam.com. Problem is I'm still making instrumentals and need to add vocals to these tracks because full songs are more in demand right now. Also my software needs to be upgraded to stay competitive. I am on the edge of glory people! Please help :)
The way I will spend money will depend on how much I end up getting in total so I will list the items I need in order of importance starting with the most important.
1) Studio condenser microphone (Audio-Technica AT2020 just under $200)

2) Waves recording software to process vocals. (Silver plugin bundle $200 on sale)
3) Musiclab Realstrat virtual guitar software ($199)

4) Guitar rig virtual guitar amplifier software to process guitar loops (Version 5 $199)
5) Tontracks EzDrummer virtual drum software($152.52 converted from euros)

Obstacles I may face throughout the project and how I intend to overcome them are as follows:
1) Should I not get the entire ammount I may find it difficult (but not impossible) to compete against other talented musicians that are fully funded. This is not a new situation for me as I had to beat other producers in attaining the contracts I mentioned earlier. Part of the reason for seeking this fund is to level the playing field but even a little portion of the funding should see me winning.
2) Time constraints are an issue because the producers that win these days are the ones that produce both quantity and quality. If not fully funded I will have to choose one of the two and I will choose quality. A wise man once told me one great track is worth more than 10 mediocre ones.
