Mercenary Promotions is a small promotions company in Adelaide, Australia. We have been running metal and punk events for the local scene since 2011. We run about 4 events per year. This all ages event will be our first all ages show, in response to demand from patrons. Patrons from Adelaide and SA have said that we need to continue to keep the local music scene alive! Angela started this project in 2011 on a minimal budget, and it is thanks to hardworking musicians, industry professionals and friends that the events are successful and continue. Interest has recently come from interstate bands, and we hope to continue to hold events, supporting women in rock.

The funds will be used to provide a bar for patrons ($1500 for bar stock required), pay for the venue, promotions via radio, local magazine ads, flyers. Bar staff will need to be paid for their work (approx. $200 for the night) In addition, this will give the musicians a wage!

The obstacles to success for this project is mainly funding for this proposed all-ages show. The other way to deal with the obstacle is to hold a BYO alcohol, which will save us in costs for alcohol. However, this will be inconvenient to our patrons.
