So...I had a voucher to record for a few hours, which I had to extend to a 6 hour session (long story)...I thought it would be great to get some gospel tracks down that we play at church (as well as some others)...I thought we'd release them online and be done with it...we had a few rehearsals and hit the studio.

We threw down the bulk of 6 songs in 3 hours. Upon listening to the initial rough mixes we all thought, hang on a minute...this is something. We decided more needed to be done than just the online thing.
It started small, it got bigger...and so did the budget.
I am hoping we can fully fund the rest of this project and have it on the shelves by July/August this year.

Here's the other thing...all profits from this album will go straight to the heritage fund for our beautiful church building, St John's Glebe in Sydney. You see we're just a small church punching well above our weight, we run an emergency relief program, interest free loan scheme, a monthly community meal, Indigenous church services/ministry, alternative church services and we have plenty of things we'd love to achieve in the pipeline...the thing is, these beautiful old buildings beg a lot of attention, and dollars!
So - this is my attempt to re-roof the church!
Let's get this album happening, selling and bringing home the bacon!

Here's a rough idea of what will need to go where:
Mixing $600
Mastering $600
CD Run (x500) $800
Artwork $200
Any left over dollars will be spent on marketing, extra CD's or go directly to the church roof/heritage building fund.

We have 6 tracks and a whole lotta love coming your way.

Money is the only real obstacle here...and hopefully we can work all that out together right?!
