Synopsis
Fahad is a 27-year-old single-dad to his 4-year-old daughter Sufi. After losing her mother Sufi becomes disconnected from her peers, Fahad soon realizes that this disconnect is due to the English/Urdu language barrier. Fahad takes on this responsibility, despite not having strong English himself, to learn and then teach Sufi the language. When all the traditional ways of learning fail him, Fahad discovers an American sitcom that changes his and Sufi’s relationship with English, as well as builds a bond between a father and daughter in an otherwise lonely, new country.
