The fashion industry is not and has never been reflective of the diversity of human beauty. Our team of photographers, stylists and artists are challenging the mainstream depiction of beauty; our models are undeniably beautiful but they have never featured in the editorial of a bridal magazine.
In an avant-garde artistic collaboration we present the stunning beauty of our models, all of whom are living with Down syndrome.
I am asking for your support to pay for the flights of our photographer and petrol for our Hair and Make up team who live interstate, and a small budget for catering on the day of the photo shoot. There are also some costs associated with purchasing artistic materials and the bridal wear that the models will be photographed in.

Expenses:
Flights to Melbourne - $280 (return)
Petrol for trip to Melbourne - $140 (return)
Catering - $80
Bridal wear - $100
Art materials - $40
All models and artists are volunteering their time.

As we are in the final stages of delivering this project, we have already dealt with most of the challenges, including meeting and working with the models, but we are not sure how the project will occur on the day.
All of the models are coming along to the shoot with their parents and we have sought and received guidance from the peak disability bodies regarding the best way to approach what may be a confronting situation for the models.
Accurately telling the story of our models is the biggest and most exciting challenge of this project.
