Hi Folks!

Belle Harvey here, I have just finished tracking, mixing and mastering my debut album and I CANT WAIT to get this baby out to the world! I have released two singles off the record already, “Bridges Burn” and “Drive” and toured them both around the nation, with a fantastic response and I’m really, really looking forward to doing the same with the rest of the songs in tow in the form of an Album, due for release early October 2017!

I’m super proud of these songs, writing and recording them was an experience I’ll never forget (some songs even made me cry) and performing them live with my wonderful talented band is the greatest thrill of all…especially when people come up after the show wanting to buy the album…that I haven’t released yet! So, that needs to change, with the help of all you beautiful pledgers!!

I grew up in Albany WA and have been playing and writing music all my life in various forms and outfits. I moved to the big smoke (Perth) in 2009 to persue my musical career, studying a Diploma in Music Business and session playing (Bass and other instruments), when around 2013 I had some pretty big life changes and decided to start fulfilling my goals and dreams and set out on my journey as a ‘real’ artist …

It all came about after meeting Bill Chambers in 2013 while playing bass for Ruby Boots at a festival in Melbourne. We hit it off talking about guitars and general instrument porn, followed by a brief conversation about songwriting, we exchanged emails and went about our way. Shortly after that we got in contact and set off on a tour through WA together in my big old 1989 Toyota Coaster, which then became part of the main inspiration for my single "Drive". We wrote songs, shared stories, had some amazing shows and played on each other’s tunes, it was a very moving and motivating tour! We really enjoyed the whole songwriting and performing process together, so Bill offered that I come record my album with him and I was thrilled to have him jump on board as my producer, mentor and now great friend.

The Album was tracked back in 2015 by Jeff McCormack at Music Cellar (NSW) with some great musicians as well as Bill’s studio The Bone Yard (NSW) with a little local help from Pete Renzulo at Scudley Records (WA), splashing in some overbubs from a few very amazing WA artists. Now that all the sonic side of its done, it’s time to get it out into the world! However, there are a bunch of things I need to pay for that I just cant on my own… It would mean the world if you could help me get this album over the finish line and would love for you to be part of the final process!

As a 100% independent, self managed/booked/promoted artist AND working a day job to pay for this album so far, feed myself and my pledge video actors, I am relying heavily on all of you wonderful, sexy people to make giving birth to this baby "pozible".

You can donate as little or as much as you like or depending on which reward you would like to spend your hard earned funds on! At the end of the day, if I don't make the target by the date, I don't get the money and it will probably take another two years to get it out!...and I'm not sure I’m that patient?! Or my fans for that matter!

Also the money will not be taken from your account/credit card etc until the target is met.
Any additional funds raised will go toward more promotion, publicity, general admin cost aaand then I may also be able to start paying my furry pledge video actors…in shmackos!?

Cool stuff that's happened between tracking the record to date...

Some achievements since recording the album have not only been releasing and touring both singles “Bridges Burn” (2016) and “Drive” (2017) but also having being nominated for WAM (West Australian Music) Best Country Act for 2016 and Nominated for WAM Song of The Year Award for “Bridges Burn” in the Country Category 2016-2017.

The funds raised will be used to assist in paying for the Graphic Design Artwork and Assets of the Album, pressing and printing of the Album, both CD’s and Vinyl, as well as the promotion and publicity of the album release and tour.  

• Graphic Design Art and Assets of Album - $1,000

**Also, Just so everyone is kept in the loop, if the target is met , to make all this awesomeness happen the great folks at Pozible charge me a 5% platform fee of the target amount (which works out to be around an extra $400) PLUS I also get charged a transaction fee with every reward pledged by Credit Card / Debit Card and Paypal (which is 2.4% %20 0.30c AUD = approx another $235ish). On top of that I also have to pay for postage AND stationery (mailers for CDs and Vinyl etc) so, it's not a whole lot more, but I've had to add a bit of postage on those rewards that require to cover all those costs, but in return I offer you sooooo much love, gratitude, and awesome gifts!**

If I get the total amount raised then I get to release my first born to the big wide world and YOU get your reward PLUS the good warm fuzzy vibes knowing that you helped ME to reach my goals and dreams which I couldn’t have done without you!

Any additional funds raised will go towards covering the production of download cards, admin cost of postage etc, platform fees, Publicity and Touring.

I have had an AMAZING journey so far and the music industry is a constant challenge to say the least. I have spent every day of the last 2 and a bit years, recording, performing, doubting myself, re assuring myself, working my butt off to earn money to pay for each chapter of this Album making process, and shed many a blood, sweat and tears! ....however, the highs ALWAYS tend to outway the lows and its worth every minute, so hey, what’s another challenge?!

I’m so proud to have personally covered the cost of recording the album (including flights to the east coast at least twice, for pre-production and tracking), session players fees, mixing and mastering as well as graphic design and assets for two singles plus pressing and printing of one, the production and release of a video clip and self-funded two national single release tours!

But now, the well is well dry and the main challenge I face is coming up with the funds to get this album pressed, printed, promoted and publicised to the world!

I dream of having my first born not only on CD but also vinyl, I dream of having a solid and successful publicity campaign because I also dream of touring the nation and the world with my music and can’t do one of those things without the other!
