Hello everyone, I am a beginner Cinematographer and Independent Film maker. I have found my true passion, it's an art form, and i plan to make amazing images and tell incredible stories. In the June-July period i am filming a Short horror film about Christmas. The idea came about when i was planning an idea for my Year 12 final film, i knew i wanted to make a horror film, and my mate sad "why don't you find something that's not scary, then make it scary? So I thought what better person to turn into a terrifying beast than good ol' Saint Nick! Thing is, what is a film without light. I can't rent lights because i live in rural Victoria in Australia and I really need a light that's high powered and can light up entire rooms and even areas outside. The Aputure Light Storm LED light is my ultimate solution, thing is its very expensive, I don't have enough money and that's why I came here. This is my first Pozible campaign. I really need anyone's support, just every little bit goes towards completing my goal and EVERYONE will get something out of it, you will see the finished film and you will have satisfaction knowing that it was YOU who contributed to the lighting of a film that I hope to enter into multiple festivals.

But I hope to at least raise the $1000 because every little bit helps
I also need to afford the gear that I will need to operate it including a hell of a lot of Extension leads for a night time scene outside in the Bush so every dollar over the $1000 mark will be very well spent towards the film (Lightstands, sandbags, cords etc.)

I also need a new lens ($700) so that just adds to the pile of expenses that being an Independent Film Maker comes with.

Money and planning are the biggest obstacles in making this film, especially as i'm only 17, I have no independent transport, limited funds, but i do have one thing, courage and confidence, I plan for this film to be big.
