Why I am looking for your support:
Standing for the Hobart City Council is not a decision I have taken lightly. I know that being an alderman requires a major commitment, and that at times I will be faced with contentious issues. However, I am ready for the challenge, and am willing to 'step up'.

I am committed to listening and responding to the many communities that comprise our city.
I will make a positive difference.
I will offer a politically progressive voice on council.
I am focused, energetic and an independent thinker.
I am fourth generation Tasmanian, fully committed to our city.
As a proud gay man I will bring an inclusive, modern perspective to local government issues.

Running for election isn't cheap...

I will need to invest thousands of dollars into my campaign. I am already committing a significant proportion of my wage to the campaign, and I have some other plans for fundraising. However it would be great to be able to fully fund the posters and leaflets I will need!

Whatever I raise will go directly towards campaign publicity costs - posters and leaflets.

If you can't afford to make a donation, that's okay! I know that times are tough for a lot of people. However, if you have some time, I would really appreciate some volunteer help with my campaign. Putting up a poster, or door knocking with me would be a great help.

I don't have a major public profile - so I am going to be relying on social media to spread the word.
