Who are we and what are we doing?

We are a group of film students from Deakin University. We are in the process of creating a short sci-fi film entitled "

What our film is about?

The story is set in a futuristic society, it revolves around a young woman, named Aria, who seeks liberation from nanomachines that flow through her body, inhibiting the ability to dream. She seeks out a man who has invented a means for them to dream, she must decide which reality she will ultimately accept, all the while a menacing force, threatens to take everything away from her.

It’ll deal heavily with themes of self-empowerment and conformity.

Why would you want to fund us?

You’re helping to support young Australian filmmakers create something we’re very excited about.

You will get rewards. The more money donated the greater the reward. Information about all them can be found to the right.

What your money will be going towards?

We are lucky enough to have access to Red EPIC cameras (arguably the best cameras in the world), tripods, sliders, dollies, sound recording eqiupment and a basic lighting setup.

We are looking for $250 for our film (but the more we raise the better quality the film will be). This will help pay for props, costumes, securing locations, catering, festival applications and many more hidden costs that go into filmmaking.
