The Whitford Warriors were established in 1976 and whilst we have achieved premiership glory in lower grades, never in our history have we achieved an A Grade Flag. The A Grade side from 2013 have been inspired by the success of our thirds side last year winning a premiership; so if they can do it, why not we? 15 players will be embarking on a 12 week pre preseason program that will be the cornerstone of a tilt at the 2014 premiership. We will be sacrificing a lot during this training program; family, friends, drinking sessions etc. we need not only your donations but your moral support to keep on track. We will be training a minimum of 3 times per week with the team at Raw Edge Crossfit in Wangara and will be giving up alcohol and keeping our diet in check. Our training schedule has already started and the end date for our program is the week before Christmas 2013. We believe that this gives us the best chance to achieve the ultimate success next year. We will be doing all the hard work; we just need your help through donations. Your donations will not only go to our preseason training program but will ensure that the football club continues to exist.
How The Funds Will Be Used
We require donations to help subsidise the costs of our training program. The cost per person for this training course is $360 plus we have costs associated with creating the video $500, a further $1000 to hire a professional photographer to create our 12 month calender and the cost of producing the calender itself. Any amount raised over $5000 will go directly to the club.
The Challenges
The challenge to the playing group will be to stick with this training program and keeping on top of our diet. This is the most intense training schedule our team has ever embarked on. If you donate, we won't let you down!
