-The Victorian Surf Coast is an iconic, vibrant and rapidly growing area that is constantly sprouting creative individuals that are in need of space to promote their work. Due to the lack of such physical space or targeted magazines, BOOBS hopes to be embraced by the surf coast area in an aim to bring together a sense of the local community by way of relating to people and articulating thoughts and views that are inclusive, insightful while also tongue in cheek.

-Named after a surf break around the corner from it's HQ. BOOBS will incorporate reviews, visual art, writing, photographs, the impressions and stories of locals and visitors and much more. It will have a consistent delivery of work from local artists whose talent should absolutely be recognised and celebrated. This is the perfect platform for creative and aspiring types that feel as though there isn’t an opportunity or place to produce or display their work.

-We believe especially in these challenging times where financial strains and heavy work demands can limit prospects for the development and pursuit of creativity, that the opportunity to contribute or engage in such a magazine will be advantageous for the wider community to view and enjoy contributions. Producing a magazine provides a happy medium between having an exhibition in a gallery and the hidden intimate bedroom art that never gets to see the light of day.

-We aim to create a publication for people that have everyday commitments and also have gorgeous hidden talents that should be absolutely appreciated and shared with the like-minded folk of the coast. BOOBS is seeking to use its pages to feel as though one is reading diary entries and provide opportunities where one can relate to the tales shared.

This dream however, is only going to be achieved with the help of you lovely individuals willing to contribute money towards BOOBS. If we reach our target, most of the funds will be used for printing which is costing us $4,375 for 300 copies using recycled paper, perfect bound with a matte finish from Impact Digital in Brunswick.  If there is any additional funds we will spend the remainder on promotion and if we’re lucky enough for our saucy launch party.
