Heya !
So we're here for a very important and exciting reason...
About 8 months ago I met these incredible people who gave me the opportunity to jump into the recording studio at Loop Studios in Leederville, with WAMi award winning sound engineer and producer James Newhouse. We spent an awesome day recording a demo album full of original songs with the help of the incredibly talented Justin Martins from Our Man in Berlin on the keys.
From there I met a lovely man by the name of Dan Gullaci, who, with his brother Matt, have their own recording studio MDMusic, also in Perth, and we had a couple of very insightful, informative, and most importantly creative workshop sessions that involved songwriting, artistry and a myriad of other gems... Not to mention the world's best ever coffee!
I then had an overwhelmingly busy university schedule that unfortunately took over the majority of these last few months - BUT THE SEMESTER IS ALMOST FINISHED - and that is very exciting. The most important thing I achieved this semester, is the completion (or as near to completion as songwriting can get...) of what I perceive to be my first single "Night Friends".
This single, with your help, will be scheduled to be recorded, produced, mixed and mastered, and distributed within the months of August and September. I will be teaming up with the excessively talented Gullaci brothers to do this, and would love for you to be part of it. The single is the first step in a very exciting stage of my music career, and you'll be the first to know of anything exclusive as it comes up...
Following this single, I am scheduled to get back into the studio with James Newhouse, along with talented musicians Jonathan Brain, Justin Martins, and Dan & Matt Gullaci to record and produce my debut EP, in James' brand new studio in Bunbury along the south west coast of Western Australia.
It means the world to me that I can share this journey with you, thank you so so much for your support... Pledge whatever you like, there's some awesome gifts, Steve and I will endeavour to get them all out to you super fast and with lots of cartoon like bird drawings...
