Hello and thank you for showing interest in our Pozible campaign. We value all support given to assist us in reaching our goal to press our debut full length album 'Natural Philosophy' on 180g gatefold vinyl. You can pre-order the album here, with your contribution going towards pressing the record. We've recorded and mixed the album ourselves over the last year, with mastering done by Adam Casey at The True Vine. Seeing and hearing our creation on one of the oldest and most beautiful musical formats will be a dream come true for Warpigs.
Balancing dynamic noise with delicate melodies, the Melbourne based instrumental duo create a sound reminiscent of Dirty Three meets Dark Throne, with glimpses of Brian Eno, Sunn O))), Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Earth, Warpigs deliver a journey of dark ambient soundscapes with bursts of beautiful noise and intense walls of sound.
Proudly released via Bleeemo Music, ‘Natural Philosophy’ captures the band in both live and studio recordings, presenting an aural diversity between songs which leads you into a hypnotic drone of melodic stillness then quickly shifts gears to take you on an alive and fluid journey filled with psychedelic intense atmosphere.
Playing heavily across Melbourne and regional Victoria since 2012, Warpigs features Andrew Polydorou (International Karate) on guitar and Brian O’Dwyer (Running With Scissors) on drum kit and percussion.
