We thought so! Aeroplane Jelly is a new piece of theatre from emerging Australian playwright David Mence. This absurd and scrumpa-licious play revolves around Boil, Wart and Pustule, three vault-heads who are held hostage by their daddy super-mutant Lance within a rotten vault. They’ve never seen the apocalyptic wastelands that stretch endlessly beyond the vault door. What happens when their supply of delicious (and nutritious) Aeroplane Jelly runs out? What cunning lengths is this deranged ‘family’ willing to go through to venture beyond the vault?

Aeroplane Jelly is not only the first production to be thrown into the pots of the try-works it is also the first theatrical production to be staged in Toronto’s newest multi-discipline arts space the IndustREALarts room this November.

Tryworks Theatre Co. has an ambitious vision for Aeroplane Jelly but we need your help. Your generous donation to our campaign will go directly to transforming the IndustREALarts room into a theatre for the first time.

To do this we need three simple things, seating rostra, lighting – lights, stands, dimmers you name it; and sound equipment.
