The Pool Project.
First things first.
Obtain water storage. 

'The Pool Project' is a group of people who have links to kids with special
needs that got together and wanted to create something unique. What we came
up with is an outside inland closed system marine aquarium pool. This means
creating a living reef in a back yard pool.

The hope is that when we have it up and running, we will have a system that
will allow people who could not normally enjoy the experience of swimming on
a natural reef in the ocean the opportunity to get as close as possible.
Their reasons may be due to special needs such as restricted mobility,
required supervision needs, or any number of other reasons.

Where possible we are acquiring Australian made, green, sustainable options,
energy efficient products and cultured stock.

We have obtained a premises on a 782 sq block in Bracken Ridge on the north
side of Brisbane. As this is an older residential premise, every thing
operates on single phase power, with some of the required renovations
already under way to bring it up to an acceptable workable standard. Now is
the time to ask for your assistance and support.

To date we have had support and encouragement from numerous people and
organisations already, including, 'The Smartt Group Australia' who have put
their hand up and supplied and installed a 2.5kw PV solar power system. Rob
from Phoenix Pools, supplying a 7.5m x 3.5m x 1.3m deep fibreglass pool,
that will be installed as soon as the block has been prepared. Benny from
B&T Earthmoving for levelling the block and digging the foundations. And
many more.

Due to the size and cost of this project and we're trying to achieve it
without selling the wife's kidneys or going broke.
We're offering to acknowledge all support we receive by promoting you on our
website, with banner adds, supporters page with logo links to your own
website, as well as limited onsite acknowledgment signage.

We're looking for solutions and assistance to all our requirements,
including.
Fencing, swimming pool heat pump for temperature control, pumps and plumbing
for water movement, landscaping including outside shower, slim line water
tanks for storage and transport, renovation and building works as well as
ways to thank the people and organisations that support this project.

To complete this project to an acceptable working stage by buying and doing
every thing straight away at RRP we would require around another
$187,000.00.
However, not being a funded entity, we need to take it one step at a time,
like, obtaining an item, installing it, and then obtaining the next item.
So come back often as we will be breaking the whole project into smaller
workable projects and completing stages as funds and circumstances dictate.
