The artists have arrived, the musicians moseyed on down, and you supporters are no doubt salivating at the thought of delicious, delicious tapas.

We have locked in 7pm Tuesday night as the 'official' starting time. Come along earlier, if you're keen to hit the Sangría early. Dress is officially smart casual, but to be honest, wear whatever you like. Surprise yourself.

Hi all!

Flâneur is a brand new enterprise conceived during UNSW's Startup Games 2014. We're a small team of students, who have been thrown into the deep end - tasked with starting an enterprise within one hectic month. We've already hit the streets, bringing our idea to cafes, restaurants, office foyers, artists and more, to give this little thing the best chance to grow into something awesome. We want to make Sydney a better place for artists, and for all of you interested in creating a community of artists and art-lovers bringing culture and life back to the city.

☺ A little bit about Flâneur
Flâneur connects artists and patrons to bring culture back to the community by transforming the city into one vast art exhibit. Patrons can host art in their cafes and restaurants in exchange for people - explorers who are interested in finding art, tasty food, and good coffee. We aim to liberate emerging artists, giving them a platform outside the existing gallery framework for getting the exposure (and $) they need to support their work. Explore, discover cultural events, buy art, sip discounted coffee, whilst supporting a rapidly growing community of emerging artists, and reviving the dormant heartbeat of urban culture. It's a complete win-win-win for all involved. WIN!

The team from Flâneur has just completed its first round of intense validation, having connected with artists and cafes around the city, who have expressed a keen interest in partnering with us to grow this business into a meaningful platform for emerging art in Sydney and beyond. We have art hanging on cafe walls, and we're now stepping it up a level. We are ready to soft-launch Flâneur, and have planned an awesome opening night!

Flâneur is aiming to scale up massively over the coming months, and we want you to enjoy being with us from the start. One of our first partners, Spanish Tapas Bar & Restaurant, have graciously offered up their restaurant for a sweet night of music, art, tapas and grand company on Tuesday, March the 25th. Food and drink are discounted 50%, and if you pledge for one of the rewards, you'll snag your first drink free! $5 shots, $5 beers! So, hurry up and secure a place! Bring a friend or three! We want you to help us launch Flâneur in style.
