Why Edinburgh
This is a unique opportunity to present FOMO to global players.
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the world’s largest arts event. Major producers, presenters and venues attend the festival, seeking out new works and emerging artists.
FOMO has been endorsed by leading UK production company, Underbelly Productions. It will be staged at Radio 4 - one of Edinburgh's major commercial radio stations.

The success of FOMO
In September 2013 FOMO opened at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, winning the Adelaide Fringe Tour Ready Award.
In the six months to follow, FOMO has presented two more successful seasons.
At the 2014 Adelaide Fringe Festival, FOMO received full houses and accolades for its intimate staging of the work from the studios of Radio Adelaide. The show was awarded both a highly commended at the Adelaide Fringe Festival Weekly Awards and ‘Best Comedy’ in the Adelaide Advertiser.
Immediately following Adelaide, Zoe received rave reviews for her performance of the show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April this year.

How The Funds Will Be Used
Zoe will be presenting the show for the full 4 weeks of the Festival - that's 26 shows in 27 days!
We have prepared a lean but realistic budget of $15,000.
We have the capacity to contribute $5,000 personally, but we need to raise an additional $10,000 to go towards:
- 2 x return airfares to Edinburgh: Zoe McDonald and FOMO Director, Bryce Ives.
- Affordable accommodation close to the venue.
- Hire of the radio studio for the duration of the festival.
- Hiring of equipment such as headphones for the audience and technical support.
- Independent publicity and marketing materials.

The Challenges
We are highly experienced theatre makers and have full confidence in our capacity to deliver an exceptional season of FOMO to international audiences. As independent artists, our only challenge in delivering this show at Edinburgh is financial. We not only want to present the work at its best, but ensure we can make our presence known at one of the toughest festivals in the world.
