Director Julia-Rose O'Connor and producer Caitlin Royse present their Victorian College of the Arts graduate short film HARD.
HARD is a reflective anti-romance about the self-destruction of a woman who doesn't know how to love. After a grotesque act of revenge, Emma must face the consequences of sabotaging her relationship with fiancé James and arousing the truth that will drive this couple to carnage.

Our short HARD (previously titled Sôlus) has been written, cast, shot, cut, mixed, gradedand is now ready for festival distribution and exhibition. But we need YOUR HELP to make sure the world can see it.

Unfortunately most film festivals have a mandatory submission fee, they require a specific medium or format for the film to be considered - which involves additional costs, and some require hard copies of press kits which involves printing, postage etc. We can distribute a certain number of submissions digitally but when you're submitting your film to 100+ film festivals, the submission fees alone really add up.

We have developed a distribution strategy for festival exhibition to ensure the film reaches it's potential for it's premiere screening.
