ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

Elegy is a short drama which is been produced by myself, Christian Lee Uppill and Directed by Rhys Rosce. We both are local indipendant film makers of Adelaide, SA. Elegy is also associated with the MRCs (Media Resource Center) imitative 'The First Shot'.

STATUS
The film is nearing completion via sound and picture edit so we are seeking assistance in the way of funding for promotion, audience awarness and film festival entries through the 2013 international film circuit.

There is a trailer for the movie on its way along with cast an crew interviews, marketing images, press kit and more. A full marketing and distribution plan has been designed, setup and put into action with this site been a integral part of it.

PRODUCTION TEAM
PRODUCER - Christian Lee Uppill
Christian is a local indipendant film maker and freelancer.  He completed an Advanced Diploma of Screen (Film and TV Production) at the Adelaide College of the Arts in 2011 and now is the owner/operator of CLU Productions (specialises in Crewing of Films, Producing, Weddings and Corporate Promos, some clients include NESTLE, Adelaide Fringe, StoneRose Productions, Bedford SA, Lenzerheide).

DIRECTOR - Rhys Roscoe
Rhys is an emerging filmmaker with a passion for Directing. He completed an Advanced Diploma of Screen (Film and TV Production) at the Adelaide College of the Arts in 2011. He has worked on numerous short films one of which 'Kill and Tell' was a nominee at the 2012 SASA awards.

WRITER - Katharine McPhee
Katharine McPhee is a local writer, presently regarded as an emerging screenwriter in the South Australian film industry. After graduating with Honours in Screen Studies from Flinders University in 2007, she was awarded the Colin Thiele New Writing Scholarship from Carclew Youth Arts. In 2010 she received Emerging Artists funding from the South Australian Film Corporation for a revision of a draft of a feature screenplay that she had written, on which Michael Hauge - Hollywood based story consultant - consulted. She also received mentoring from Melbourne-based producer Yael Bergman, of Princess Pictures. She has since written two more feature-length screenplays and is presently in pitching stage for all three projects.
