THANK YOU to all our pledgers and supporters! On the 6th of June we reached our pozible Campaign goal... you've really given us great support.

What we are hoping now is that you will continue to help us raise funds to support Fractured Heart to be further developed and presented in other places. 

The Fractured Heart projection sculpture is now in Sydney where its being seen by thousands of people, and its getting great reviews! What's even more exciting is that in using it we are hearing from people how it could be used in health applications for children and people with mobility issues, as well as being a great form of entertainment. We want to keep developing this project - with your pledges and support to promote our campaign we will be able to continue. 

One of the rewards we are offering our supporters is a DVD anthology of the five years of work developed, created and presented by Illuminart. This will feature all the names of our pozible campaign supporters, in recognition of the fact that you are giving us the platform of support to continue our work. This anthology is available as an option for anyone who pledges $25 or more. 

ABOUT US

South Australian media arts company, illuminart, has been creating spectacular animated projection art onto buildings as a form of public art, in support of communities to create and share living heritage. 

Our work is a highly crafted form of audiovisual production, that maps animated stories onto architecture, structures, surfaces... even people. 

Our arts company works in partnerships and collaborations with communities to make these projects possible, and we accomplish incredible work on limited budgets through the support of creative partnerships, sponsors and arts funding.

ABOUT FRACTURED HEART

Fractured Heart is our own research project, to create a way for people of diverse ages and abilities to enjoy playing music and experiencing sound and vision in a gestural way.

 Australia's hottest musician Gotye has supported this project with music samples and his knowledge, to assist in creating a light and music sculpture that you can "play" with another person, moving and dancing to generate a music remix. 

We plan to continue to develop this technology so that it can be incorporated into live performances, public art projects and events. Its an innovative way of engaging with music and media that has relevance to our future community projects in Penrith, Adelaide and beyond.

ABOUT OUR POZIBLE CAMPAIGN

We decided to run the campaign for 28 days to be able to update you throughout the project. 

Some of our rewards are for dates BEFORE the campaign ends - including the $15 reward for "priority pass" and $50 "VIP launch invitation" and $60 "backstage geek out". ** We will honour all of these pledges WHEN YOU PLEDGE rather than at the end of the campaign, so you will be rewarded regardless of whether our campaign is successful or not. **

The $2000 of our initial campaign goal helps us cover our accommodation costs to present our light sculpture project in VIVID. 

Going beyond our goal helps us commit to further development of Fractured Heart and our other projects. With your support we will continue development of this project to implement it in our planned community projects following on from VIVID. These include the inclusive arts project No Boundaries, and returning to Port Adelaide to be part of our long term media arts collaboration with the community. 

You will also be contributing to ensuring the long term sustainability of our fledgling five years young arts company. 

On these future projects, we hope to implement elements of the interactive light technology we've created for VIVID, so the more that you help us raise, the more people will have a chance to experience this, for free, at one of our future community based public art events.
