Amazing! We reached our goal with 8 days to spare!
We are a group of young (and young at heart!) people passionate about film living and working in Canberra. We have been given the opportunity to work with a professional musician to make a music video. The song, written and sung by the beautiful and talented Tabitha Ojeah is called "The One" and is a happy upbeat song all about being in love and loving being in love. The video is all about love and happiness and will show Tabitha’s amazing talent around a happy storyline of friends and lovers having fun together. We cannot wait to shoot it!
However, as with all film productions, they come at a cost. We are so excited and overwhelmed that we have reached our goal of $600 with more than 8 days to spare and now we would like to stretch ourselves a little more. If we reached $1,000 we would be able to use a professional colourist to work on the video in post production and if we reached $1,500 we could get a professional set designer in to help us with the shoot!

About Charlene Bartak (Director/Co-Producer/Cinematographer)
Charlene Bartak (known as Charlie to all) is a final year student studying a Bachelor Degree in Media Arts and Production, with a major in Graphic Design at the University of Canberra. Charlie’s passion for media and graphic design has followed her throughout her education, finding interest in short film making during high school. While completing her degree she has found herself working in the Canberra film industry, lending her photography and videography skills on a number of short form projects for government and non government organisations, as well on two Canberra based feature films. She has also undertaken private graphic design and film work for a number of Canberra based clients.
Her professionalism glows through her work, where she brings a clean, crisp creative flair to her design and approach. Charlie feels she has been given an amazing opportunity to be able to produce a music video for the beautiful and talented Tabitha Ojeah!

About Tabitha Ojeah (Artist/Co-Producer)
Tabitha is a captivating entertainer. A proud Nigerian-Australian hailing from a blessed musical family, this pocket rocket has made a name for herself performing regularly as a session singer in the Soul/Funk/Rnb/Dance music scene alongside some of the finest musicians and Djs in Australia. Currently she is fronting her own band “Tabitha and The Clique” and working as backing vocalist to Jessica Mauboy. Tabitha’s powerful stage presence draws you in and will keep you hanging on to every moment. Keep a lookout for her original music to be released in the next couple of months.

About Daniel Sanguineti (Producer)
Daniel runs Sanguineti Media Pty. Ltd. which is a Canberra based, family owned independent film and video production company. They specialise in online content and TV commercials, as well as documentary and narrative films, including providing frequent support and opportunity to emerging and young filmmakers.
Daniel has a Bachelor Degree of Communication in Media and TV Production. He is currently completing a Masters of Creative Writing. He has been a filmmaker for ten years and is actively part of Canberra film and production industry regularly supporting other peers and artists from many branches of the Arts. He has previously worked for a regional television broadcaster.
Daniel believes in three core values in his work; collaboration, originality and creativity. They are driving forces behind his vision of bringing alternative, professional and entertaining content to audiences. Daniel has produced three feature films previously and numerous short films and documentaries, and is currently in pre-production of his forth feature, Me and My Mates vs The Zombie Apocalypse.

About Shay McAuley (Cinematographer)
Shay McAuley is the owner/operator of Shaykles Productions. Shaykles Productions is a boutique business, locally owned and operated in the Canberra region. Shay specialises in videography, editing and live streaming. He has always been interested in the production of music videos and is keen to work with Charlie and Tabitha in this production. Some of Shay's projects include the filming of advertisements for a popular Canberra nightclub, a Sydney based flashmob and several live streaming sports events across Australia.

About Clair Strickland (Production Coordinator)
Clair Strickland was involved in stage management and production in the UK many moons ago. Then life happened: she moved to Australia and studied Commerce (management) at the ANU in Canberra. She has a passion for fashion and is totally obsessed in costume design...one thing she can do is organise! She met Tabitha while studying at University and knows Shay and Charlie from working with them on a number of projects for an International Charitable Organisation. Clair is so excited to be involved in the production of this music video and is looking forward to see what this amazing team can produce!

The Challenges
There are always obstacles in any project like this, trying to get the cast and crew together, equipment hire, and weather conditions all in the right place at the right time. We have contingencies in place, friends offering to help with the shoot and umbrellas too!
We are also trying to lock in a date for the shoot as soon as possible which will reduce the risk of failing on equipment hire and cast and crew.
