Film, (as in using film itself) is such a beautiful medium. As the film makers of tomorrow, our challenge is to create a short project using 16mm, so we thought we'd do something short, funny and entertaining.

Edith (68) and Bernie (70) have been married for 45 years, and the kettle just doesn't boil like it used to. One day, Edith decides enough is enough, and brews a plan (along with a cup of tea) to rid herself of her bothersome husband for EVER. However, revenge isn't quite as sweet as she hoped...
We have a cracker team of volunteers helping us out on this project. The core "5", a donated set and some wonderful actors working for a laugh and a hearty dinner. Also, we have a heap of technical supporters who love the idea as much as we do, and getting it to the big screen. Unfortunately, camera houses and post-production suites want a little more than a bottle of wine and eternal gratitude, so we're trying to raise funds to keep 'em happy.
Our biggest challenge is getting the film to its submission date on time. The film will probably travel around Australia more times than we do to be processed, but we're just going to get in early and keep on top of things.
Otherwise, our actors better love drinking tea, or we're heading down a dangerous road!
