My name is Clint Strindberg, and I have a REALLY exciting project that I would LOVE your help with:
TOURING TO SYDNEY AND MELBOURNE FRINGE WORLD, AS COUGAR MORRISON!

After training for 7 years as a Classical Singer, I grew enough of a spine to pursue what I'd obsessed about for the last two decades; Cabaret, and quicker than a minute-man, I created my sassy alter-ego, Cougar Morrison.

I get asked alot, 'How did you create Cougar?' And I always have a giggle at this, because Cougar IS me.

I know that you know what it's like to feel different. It's mostly terrifying! We just want to fit in and be normal!
Then finally after years of trying to fit in (and fooling nobody), years of being terrified of being 'discovered for being unusual,' I pulled the finger at being 'normal' and created Cougar; a celebration of being different.
In creating him I took every little aspect that makes me, Clint, and rather than try and cover these up, I EMPHASISED THEM!

Cougar (like Clint) is not entirely masculine OR feminine.
He has a very graceful walk.
He is cheeky. OH MY DAYS HE IS CHEEKY.
He is sexy.
His wit and cheekbones can cut a bitch!


My first season of performing as Cougar was in March at Perth Fringe World, and it...was....the BEST time of my life so far.
Not only wonderful to perform, but even MORE amazing to hear from and meet the audiences, all of whom related to my stories.
It was the most unexpected surprise, in performing a show that would help my heart and esteem, I helped others too. My mind was blown!

Now i am DELIGHTED to have been accepted into the Sydney and Melbourne Fringe Worlds! It is SUCH a thrill and very overwhelming that Cougar is getting this much attention, when I only created him 10 months ago.

It is this tour that I would LOVE for you to pledge towards. Your amazing help will enable my team and I to travel and promote ourselves, and for that I will be ENOOOOORMOUSLY grateful!

$3000 actually does not cover the entire cost of FLIGHTS & ACCOMMODATION.

I was quoted $4800 for flights and accommodation for this tour, but Pozible wisely recommend that you choose a lower goal to start with.

The funds will be used for Flights and Accommodation for:
-Myself
-My two dancers, and
-My musical director.

Our tour consists of:
Flying PERTH to SYDNEY -            6 shows in Sydney for Fringeworld. Staying 7 days total.
Flying SYDNEY to MELBOURNE - 6 shows in Melbourne at The Butterfly Club. Staying 7 days total.

The most obvious challenge is that we will not be on home-court advantage.

So we have already begun clever marketing and advertising to raise awareness of Cougar Morrison's name and brand. I am doing this largely through selected online advertising.

When we arrive in Sydney, I have meetings already planned with great business minds, to pick their brains about longevity.

I also have meetings with other artists, as well as photography shoots in Melbourne.
