Club Rewind

Join Melbourne’s freshest club for the celluloid-obsessed: Club Rewind ⏪ 

Founded by Matt Hirst and Meg Donaldson, Club Rewind screens underseen films with special guest artists, followed by chats, wine & Letterboxd swaps. No trailers, no rules — just unreserved enjoyment.

Kicking off as part of Melbourne Fringe in 2025, we're excited to present three incredible films throughout October, with the aim to present more in the future - but we can't do it without your help!

As a self-funded project in its early iteration, we want every dollar to count in making this the best event possible for our guests and members.

Your contribution will help us cover costs such as venue hire, licensing and screening rights, guest artist fees, and the very real costs of putting on a festival. Even with a healthy box office, the high costs of putting on a slick event are unavoidable. 

But every little bit counts!

We are grateful for any support you can give, and we can't wait to share this with you.

Pledge $15 or above and we will give you a shoutout at a screening of one of the films (your choice!)

Pledge $20 or above and receive a Club Rewind sticker (Illustrated by Melbourne-based artist Alison McCleod)

Pledge $50 or above and recieve a discount code, giving 30% off all 2025 screenings

Pledge $100 or above and recieve a free ticket to all three 2025 screenings

Pledge $150 or more and you will be invited to our house to watch a movie with us (we'll probably cook you dinner too) ;)

Film licensing fees: $1,100

Artist fees: $300

Venue hire: $800

Marketing: $700

Operational costs: $500
