After a sold out season of Europe Won’t Fix You at Sydney Fringe in 2016 and a successful run of Quarter Life Crisis in 2015, The General Public Theatre Company are off to Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2017 AND WE CANNOT BLOODY WAIT.

Before we head off, we are back for one night only to perform both shows to a hometown crowd in Sydney at PACT Theatre. 

The money raised will be used for venue hire, marketing, and travel costs for The General Public Theatre Company artists.

Venue Hire

The lovely people at The German Club in Adelaide have signed us up to perform both shows for a week each. We are so excited to work with this team during the festival to sell out our shows and get people involved in the festival.

Marketing 

Putting these shows on outside of our hometown comes with some obvious challenges including needing to find an audience. In order to this, we have to spend a little bit of cashola to find our people in Adelaide so that we can all have a play and lol together.

With your loving support we will be able to deliver the marketing campaign that we’ve been busting our guts working on. This will involve both online and printed marketing collateral. 

Travel Costs

All of our artists will be traveling from Sydney for the festival so we need to pay for travel and accomodation so that the shows can happen. 

Touring interstate comes with some big challenges including having to find and build an audience in unfamiliar territory, getting our artists to the festival safely, and keeping them off the streets for the duration of their stay.
