Who are we?

Hi! We're Courtney and Stephen - two Will & Grace-obsessed, musical-comedy-loving performers, who've decided to hit up the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland with our brand new show, Jack & Karen! But we need your help!

Jack & Karen is a comedy cabaret, based on the two supporting characters of the same name from the 90s cult sitcom Will & Grace. We love Jack & Karen more than Karen loves gin (so, a lot), and even more than Jack loves Cher (hard to *believe*, but true).

What's our show about?

Let's be real - Jack and Karen should have had their own show. In the minds of Stephen and Courtney, Jack and Karen are life, and Will & Grace just exist in it. Meet two friends who have more in common with their TV idols than they think, and see how they try to keep their friendship together after the TV is turned off and real life rears its head! 

Why Should You Donate?

If you've been kind enough to see some of our work in the past, then hopefully you'll have faith that our brand new show will be worth your investment. If you love laughing, reminiscing about the 90s, and singing along to ditties about gin, then you should definitely donate to Jack & Karen!

Your generous donations will help us fly to Edinburgh, print flyers, posters, register for the Official Fringe Program, help with accomodation, living expenses, and pay for the haggis we have to eat after losing a bet with a Scotsman (apparently thats a thing).

If we're honest (which we always are!), our actual budget totals $7,100 (a conservative estimate). We're asking for $5000, which doesn't completely cover our costs, but would be an incredible help. 

We've got ten great reward options that cater for all budgets. We hope that they'll tickle your fancy, and be worth your hard earned cash!

The Edinburgh Fringe is an amazing experience, for performers and audiences alike. In order to get our little show there, we need your help! Whatever you donate will only be charged on your card once we reach our target. If we don't reach our target, then we don't receive any money at all (sadface). But, fingers crossed, with your help, we'll get there! (happyface!)

In 2015, the Edinburgh fringe Festival hosted 3,314 shows over just one month, and an even bigger number is expected this year. That makes it by far the largest arts festival on the planet, EVER. If getting there and surviving the month wasn't a big enough challenge, we also need all the help we can get to get our name out there and get bums on seats! With your generous contribution we can make that happen.
