Kishi Sushi is an Adelaide based Sushi Bar that has been running since March 2012.
Whilst we have been extremely humbled by the response towards our shop and are eternally grateful for the support so far we are looking to upsize our business further and we need your help! Never fear though as we are not looking for charity here, we are offering you some amazing deals that we know you will love.
When we opened the shop we had some extra plans that we wanted to implement but were unable to achieve them due to lack of funds. If we are able to reach our funding goals with this campaign we will be able to significantly improve our business in ways that will benefit you!
We are offering a range of amazing offers to help us crowd fund the money and achieve our goals faster than would otherwise be possible!
What your money will fund:
- Outdoor bar area - The council has recently upgraded our footpath and decided to place a garden bed directly in front of our shop. Whilst this has made a traditional outdoor dining set up impossible we have an alternative plan to install an outdoor bar. Funds will help build and install the bar, buy seats, pay council fees for the outdoor area and pay for extending our liquor licence.
- Indoor sideboard bench - We have began constructing a new interior side bench that will increase our storage space and allow us to increase our wine list. We will also use the extra storage space to begin selling a range of craft Japanese Beers that are not sold anywhere else! We are also investigating purchasing a retro TV to play old kung-fu movies, japanese video games and other oddities!
- Illuminated sign - Many people still struggle to find Kishi because its so tucked away! To help fix this problem we want to purchase an illuminated sign for the front of the shop. We would also like to install lighting facing back onto the shop front to help light it up at night time.
- Repaint - This is more of stretch goal if the funding goes amazingly well but we would like to repaint the outside of the shop at some stage. Its a heritage listed building and there are a lot of regulations that we need to navigate to be allowed to repaint it. Basically its very expensive!
We know that if we can implement these last few changes Kishi will finally feel finished and be even better than it currently is!
