The Chaos Ensemble's second show for 2015 is taking a completely unexpected left-turn into the world of news media.

"Covering local, national and international stories with style, News Team 42 will take you on a satirical ride through the last 24 hours around the world. Mocking the media, they'll entertain, educate, and probably offend you. With an entirely unique and edgy show each day, journalism has never been so sexy. Whatever events are popular in the last day, week or month before the performance will be poked, prodded and torn to shreds in a 40 minute broadcast where anything can happen. How well do you know the news?"

We've been accepted into Perth Fringe next year in February and we need your help to get our evocative new show up and running!

We're essentially looking a small amount of money to help pay for our marketing and production costs.
Here's a little breakdown to see where your donations go:

$200 towards marketing costs (Fringe is a melting pot of shows from all corners of the world, and we want to stand out!)
$300 towards costumes (We need some cheap suits to look swish for each broadcast!)
$150 towards set pieces/props (We've got a few surprise segments up our sleeve and we want to bring them to life!)
$100 towards photography (We want to tour in the future and need to record how this first show went down; the good, the bad, and the ugly)

There are many challenges to any new project, especially one that deals with real world events and news. There are not many live theatrical shows that delve into dealing with the media and hopefully while mocking and possibly offending, we can open the eyes of our audience to what is really going on in the world and how it's being presented to us. We want to inform, as well as perform. Journalism is dying, and we're here to bring it kicking and screaming back to life.
