Dear friends and family,
I have become a member of a wildlife organisation in South Australia to care for injured wildlife in my home and to restore them to health.
Because I live in a unit the only animals I can feasibly support are reptiles and amphibians, namely blue-tongue lizards, bearded dragons and turtles. Their common injuries are related to law-mowing/grass cutting and attacks from domestic animals.
Volunteers and need to equip themselves with the resources to care for these animals, and so I need to buy an enclosure tank, heating lamps, insulation materials, food, UV lights, medicines, potential vet treatment costs and electricity costs, etc.
I am trying to fundraise a minimum of $230. This amount should be just enough to cover all my start up costs for equipment as a volunteer. Anything above this will help me with all the ongoing costs (and thus greatly appreciated!)
