We want to Raise $3000 for Kick Ass ingredients, council permits and start up costs to start sharing The Nourishing Nomad with the People of North Fitzroy, Melbourne.

OK COOL BUT WHAT IS THE NOURISHING NOMAD ?

The Nourishing Nomad was formerly a hotdog stand. We transformed it ourselves into what is now a Fresh Push Powered Cart, serving Homemade Organic Sweet and Savory food. This Includes Warm winter soups, Coconut water, Raw cakes, Sticky Rice, Fruit, Herbal Teas, Bakers Specials, Books and few surprises. The food served is of the Highest Quality - Organic and Nourishing with a little healthy sweetness to satisfy and sustain. We serve our awesomeness on Eco friendly ware which is biodegradable and or compostable. All of our Food is Vegetarian or Vegan. 

WHO MAKES YOUR AWESOME FOOD ?

The Nourishing Nomad currently has three suppliers other than myself.

We have:

Maker of the Marvelous Warm Winter Soups, Sweet Treats and Raw cakes

● Ellen Stone from Essence of Elle
Outstanding Raw Cakes and Balls of Bliss Presented and Prepared to Perfection

● Gabriel Bullock from Gabes Goodies
Buttery Baked Goods! Expect exceptional Muffins, Croissants and Slices  a more traditional Baking Style

Each supplier has been hand picked for the love they put into their food, Love you can taste, their attention to the small things and their Next Level Skills.

WHERE WILL I BE ABLE TO FIND THE NOURISHING NOMAD ?

Once we have our permits, the plan is to operate weekday mornings around local train stations, providing the option of an Organic Nourishing breakfast or sweet treat for those on the go, with perhaps a great read from one of the inspiring books on the cart bench, for those who fancy it.

Weekends during the day will see The Nourishing Nomad in the Edinburgh Gardens and along Merri Creek bike path providing a nice place to stop and renew or to simply grab a healthy treat while enjoying the gardens. We are READY to hit the streets. We had our first Fundraiser day on the 15th June. The quality of the food and the people that came where exceptional. We know what we do works and that the people like it. Phew!  All that's left is legalities and council fees to keep the good stuff rolling.  So, if you would love to find yourself a healthy treat that makes you feel good I would LOVE your support.

City of Yarra Mobile Food Premise Annual Fee $1000
Register Home Kitchen with City of Yarra $600
Public Liability Insurance - Need to confirm.
Registration with the Victorian Food Act $480
Register Business Name $ 33
Remaining Funds will be used to create Rewards

If we exceed our Goal, we will put the money towards Cart upgrades such as:

●  Logo creation and design 
●  Add a side bench to the cart for Favian's herbal tea and cake, plus more working and display space
● Create a bigger canopy so we can keep everyone dry on rainy days, that would be lovely
