About The Film
30-something Mr. Stowlicker's sense of stability in life depends on orchestrating his environment, avoiding emotional contact and conversation. His goldfish is his only true friend. This mediocre existence comes under threat and begins to crumble as simple plastic balls start to appear in the oddest of places, disrupting his carefully plotted life and forcing him to face the suppressed individual that resides deep inside.
Funding the 2nd Part of Production
60% of the film has already been shot, with amazing results (view the teaser trailer and stills). The end film is anticipated to be approximately 17 minutes long. As writer of the film, my driving inspiration behind the character and context of the story is the sometimes profound effect that seemingly simple events in our childhood have on shaping us as adults. It's a heartwarming story that a lot of people can easily connect with, encapsulated in some rather bizarre and silly comedy that clearly reflects strong influences of my own childhood, such as Monty Python.
Your help is critical to our success
Even with the amazing support and volunteering of some extremely talented cast and crew, filmmaking is still expensive. Costs easily run up - film equipment hire, production design & materials, SFX setup, location fees, catering - all of this particularly so with some of the more adventurous shooting the film calls for.
The first part of production, already completed, cost in excess of $9,000. We're running this campaign to seek YOUR help towards the completion budget which, at a minimum, will be another $9,000. Whilst our funding goal is set to $3,800 we would love to raise more - anything above and beyond that will go into the film and on the screen, including allowing us to shoot two additional scenes that are currently outside of our target budget.
The benefactors of your kindness in contributing to our project will be the world wide festival audiences watching and loving this film. Your support is truly appreciated.

We've previously collaborated on an entirely self funded short film, Tavern Fever, which was shot in December 2011. The film screened in a number of international festivals, and received the Bronze Palm Award at the Mexico International Film Festival. Check out a small clip from the film below!
