Ricochet will be David's graduating film at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts.
His films from the past two years, include Joey & Tea For Two both of which are building a strong festival presence this year.
In 2009 David’s first film was an 18 minute short entitled ‘I Can Speak Swedish’ which he wrote, codirected and co-produced earned him worldwide recognition. Awards included ‘Best Comedy Short’ at the Academy accredited Rhode Island International Film Festival and ‘Best Short Film’ at the Canada International Film Festival. He has also garnered individual accolades too including ‘Best Director’ at the Nevada Film Festival, chosen from over 1000 entries.His short films, The Father (2011) & I Can Speak Swedish (2009) have won various awards and have screened at high profile festivals all over the world including the Melbourne International Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival and Rhode Island International Film Festival.
