David PalmerG'day Sue, it's been a long time, glad to see you're doing OK. I use green clay pots to hold the glass, you could probably do raku in the furnace OK as is, but the annealer only gets to about 600c, easy to up the elements though. Keep in touch & good luck with your own project.
Regards Dave P
http://www.facebook.com/david.palmer.7314y
Su BrownHi David, Best of luck with this project, sounds great. Maybe you could think of designing a potters gas kiln. I'm a potter currently doing Studio Ceramics at Wallace Rockhole, raising funds on Pozible, look in Crafts. Just thinking your design could be easily modified for pottery and maybe used by communities. Future event for you to think about. But for today good luck, I'm sure you'll reach target. Regards Su Brown14y

The above, with love.(NOTE)&

To be listed on the Honour page of my future website,& be able to access blogs & how to's about furnace builds, special tools, glass blowing & metal casting, ect'
