New Wheel for Our Pottery Group!

A$0
of $1,600 targetyrs ago
Closed on 12th Nov 2015 at 9:11AM.
PAQ (Pottery Art Queenstown), began in Queenstown in March, a small group of dedicated people giving time and knowledge free of charge to the community as well as providing space to work and a kiln service. Up to this point all services have been privately funded including the massive cost of installing the kiln (supplied by our potter), the one wheel we have supplied by the local high school, the gallery space for exhibition supplied by the adjoining gallery, labour donated etc., Our members number around 35 and each contributes in their own way to the ongoing cost and structure of the group however, asking any one person to fund the entire cost of a new wheel of our own is too much burden for a low socio economic area. Ideally we would like to eventually have four pottery wheels and a building extension to allow wheel chair access...but that's another story...for now please help us achieve our one more wheel :)
