Hey there! So a lot of you may have noticed that I've been doing a whooooole lot of painting and drawing lately! Yes! It feels like I'm finally breaking free of all of those old hang ups about what I'm doing with my art and just doing it! I tell you what, I am really enjoying seeing what's coming from it. So, I have been told a lot lately "I would love to buy some of your work." "Do you have any pieces for sale?" "Can I please decorate my entire house and car and dog with your paintings?" and I can finally say to you: "YES." The moment has arrived! I got accepted into the StARTup Gallery at the Beaufort Street Festival 2015. WOO HOO! It's the first time I've done anything like this before, and I tell you what, it's exciting. and nerve wracking. and expensive. So I've never had to get proper, fancy schmancy, archival quality prints done before, but I want to spoil you guys, Officeworks copy bar simply won't cut it any longer. I need prints that are going to last the generations, prints that are going to be so silky and striking that you want to make them tea and serve it in your finest bone china. But alas! I'm a starving artist! I can't afford tea! Or to pay Paul at Prolab. SIGH. But then a moment of genius struck O_O PEOPLE MIGHT WANT TO BE THE FIRST TO DIBS A PRINT. LET THEM HELP YOU MAKE THEM. and here we are.

How The Funds Will Be Used
It's pretty simple. I'm going to use the funds very responsibly and get lots of printing done for my stall at the Beaufort Street Festival!
Wide format giclee printing is going to cost me $160 a linear metre, and I figure 2x linear metres of printing will get me somewhere towards what I would like to get printed. If I make double that I could get double the printing done! Extra after that would mean some shade for my stall! and some picture frames! And then more printing! SO MUCH PRINTING!

The Challenges
You know, I don't really see any obstacles... I have work done, I have a printer lined up, I have an exhibition space good to go... I just hear the whisper "if you build it, he will come." He meaning you, my pozible supporters. Yeah, it may be a weird (and very dated) quote, but whatever. I'd love your help to get me there! :D
