Hello to all.
 
We’re going to keep this all fairly short and simple!  
Nurses is a project that has seen a few incarnations over many years, the final outcome of which is this album, which we are really excited about!  The Nurses debut album is close to being mastered and pressed and we are super keen to get the album out into the real world on glorious 12” vinyl in January 2016. 
We need your support to help get the album pressed in special limited edition run of 50 with custom letter pressed print covers.  With your support you will get a 12" numbered edition of the album in your hands to spin on a record player as well as a digital download for the perfect mix of old school cool and new tech.  Or, if you prefer, you can also go the electronic way and roll with a download version (it’s just not as nice to touch, feel and play with!).
We’re running a simple crowdfund concept here, so there are not heaps of extra bonuses.  Unless you really desperately want us to cook for you or meet you in a cafe to have a cup of tea, but heck, you probably know where we live, so just stroll by and most likely the kettle will be on anyway and we can have a cuppa as you get your copy of the record!  Hand delivery to your door can easily happen, possibly with snacks or post in the mail, which will most likely be without snacks.
The first ten vinyl copies picked up on will also get a cd version of the 22 (Monkeyboy) sound album from a couple of years ago.  The feedback from that album is that it is great to play to babies!  Apparently the newborn market digs it, which wasn’t exactly the crowd intended, but it’s better than those synth versions of alternative classics;)
This project has a long history and this album is the product of a number of talented Tasmanian artists from bands such as hMAS, Elvis Christ, Werl, The Stan Show, Spiral Kites, Red Rival, Enola Fall and The Reactions.
