THIS DOCUMENTARY AIMS TO CHANGE ALL THAT AND WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE IT A REALITY!

Dal Djamarrkuli comes from the Yolgnu Matha language. It means: Strong Children

Aged 5 – 6 years old, Yawunyawun, Nuyindirr and Muyarriyarri, currently live in and around Ramingining – a remote Indigenous community located in Arnhem Land – 560km east of Darwin – 4,040km from Melbourne.

In documenting Yawunyawun, Nuyindirr and Muyarriyarri’s ‘day to day’ lives, we hope to share with you their hopes and dreams for the future - share with you who they look up to and what an ‘average day’ for them looks like.

We invite you to support an opportunity to respectfully learn about their incredible culture; a culture so rich and one that should be proudly recognised and celebrated by all Australians – RIGHT HERE ON POZIBLE, please, ‘CLICK’ to provide a platform for these children and their community TO BE HEARD IN THEIR OWN WORDS throughout Australia and the world.

'CLICK' to support an initiative that hopes to shape our Australian cultural identity and understanding for the better. Empowerment starts here (for all Australians): through awareness %20 education.

We are so privileged to introduce to you three spectacular individuals:Yawunyawun, Nuyindirr and Muyarriyarri. In Dal Djamarrkuli you will meet their families, their friends and have an insight in to the challenges they face as Indigenous Australians.

How The Funds Will Be Used

As independent film-makers we do seek support from the public.

We will be travelling from Victoria to the Northern Territory, we'll be filming on location for 6 days.

Our costs (at a minimum) include:
Airfares x 2 crew members = 2, 800
(flight from Darwin to Ramingining $520 per person / one way)
Freight costs for equipment = 800
Equipment hire = 1,500
Professional colour grade = 1, 000
Professional sound mix = 1, 500
Festival entry costs / DVD distribution = 800

As you can see: these figures alone exceed our target of $5,000, every cent thrown behind this project is accounted for - every dollar counts.

The Challenges

. . . with all projects there's the risk of failure.

Our biggest obstacle is finding the funds to adequately distribute this documentary far and wide, not just in Australia - but to take this project to a global stage!

Distribution and marketing are the silent killers after a production has been completed - to have your work exhibited and SEEN by a wide audience is incredibly hard without a substantial budget, especially to even be noticed in a world that's saturated in visual content. We want this to be screened in schools, on national airlines, in cinemas, on TV . . . we want you to go out and track this film down on DVD for yourself, share it with friends + family and appreciate it wholeheartedly.

We want Yawunyawun, Nuyindirr and Muyarriyarri’s voice to spark a cultural revolution in Australia. We want our fellow Australians to stand up for Indigenous rights and to unite in recognising and celebrating our Indigenous cultures. WE WANT CHANGE. WE WANT EQUALITY. WE WANT SOLIDARITY.

To achieve that, we need your help.
