Hi there! My name is Emily Day and I am the editor and creator of Froth magazine - Melbourne's first independent, awesome and free print magazine about the local craft beer scene.
I started planning this magazine a few months ago while enjoying a fantastic Australian craft beer at my local pub. I have been incredibly interested in craft beer for several years and have been thrilled to see the local scene growing from the barren wasteland of VB and Carlton to the vibrant and independent wonderland we have today.
My project – Froth magazine – aims to unite excellent writing and photography with brilliant brewers, passionate craft beer fans, home brew experts, pubs, bars and those who are discovering the scene.
Like the scene, the magazine will be fun, playful, informative and just a little bit nutty.
I need to raise $5000 to pay for the printing costs and contributors for the first edition, which launches in November 2015. Help me to bring this crafty baby to life!

How The Funds Will Be Used
I need to raise $4862 to pay for the printing costs for the first edition of this 32-page A4 colour magazine.
The remaining $138 I will put towards paying contributors (I will pay the rest out of my own pocket). Future editions of the magazine will be funded by advertising.

The Challenges
Obstacles I may face include three-day hangovers and an unsightly beer gut but I am prepared to tackle these head on to bring you the latest news and views about the craft beer scene and celebrate the amazing people in the industry.
