HOW THE STARSEED WAS PLANTED
Our journey began four years ago when we felt that our vegetarian diet was not providing us with as much energy and vitality as we thought it should, despite our general well being.  Like most people, we enjoyed one or two cooked meals a day made exclusively from organic ingredients.

We began experimenting with raw foods, gradually introducing one or two more raw meals into our diet per week and within a couple of months were enjoying a complete living food diet. During this time we also discovered the amazing properties of superfoods which were starting to appear in the Australian market adding a vast array of diversity to our diet. It has made it really easy to stick with our healtly diet and not have to resort to high-processed supplements. We can honestly say that all three of us have not been sick for one day since.

Living an almost entirely raw diet comes with its challenges, especially when trying to source diverse and substantial offerings whilst out and about. However, we are committed to ensuring our bodies are fed with as much living food as possible, because that's what living cells require.

So around three years ago, through our dedicated research and development through our lifestyle decisions, we came to the realisation that we wanted to share this knowledge with other people. Thus we began creating a range of organic, vegan, superfood snack-meals made with mostly raw ingredients with several gluten free varieties.

We decided to call these amazing creations SuperOrbs; not only are they incredibly delicious, they are also Low GI, nutrient dense and provide high vitality without the crash of other energy foods and drinks.

And, thankfully, many people agree with us, which is why SuperOrbs can now be found in over 90 stores throughout Victoria and South Australia. It's been an exciting journey so far, one that we intend to build on with more product types in the future that not only include ethically sourced organic wildcrafted foods from tribal communities around the world but also incorporate our native Australian superfoods as well.

Today, the company we created to produce our products is called Eridu and we are so excited that an alternative, grass-roots funding pathway is now available so we would love for you to contribute to the cause and help take this enterprise to the next level.

Right now, we are making our products in a tiny commercial kitchen on our little rural property in central Victoria - so small that we have to completely finish one process before we can move to the next which translates into many long hours . We have just leased a warehouse/factory space in the inner suburbs of Melbourne so that we can locate ourselves near our suppliers and other resources.

We have posted this project to raise money to build a new kitchen facility that will enable us to work more efficiently, reduce our global footprint and provide us room to grow and expand our product range and finally allow us to obtain Organic Certification. One of our ultimate visions is to be able to provide our nutritional products across the width and breadth of this great, brown land...and beyond!
