Drowning is a leading cause of death in Australian children aged under 4 years. The Royal Life Saving Society Australia recommends water familiarisation and awareness for toddlers as one of its 4 key drowning protection actions. Australians love the outdoors and spend a lot of time near water. We believe the SWIMTRAINER “Classic” can safely aid in familiarising Australian babies to water while helping them develop swimming strokes from a young age.

Our first shipment of SWIMTRAINER “Classic” is currently on its way to Australia. Now we need to find gorgeous Australian children of all shapes and sizes to help promote and market this wonderful product. So, if you have an adorable baby (and, let’s face it, all babies are adorable in their own funny, chubby, dimply little ways) we want them! Hmmm, let's re-phrase that….we want a photo of your little bundle o’ joy for use in our SWIMTRAINER "Classic" marketing campaign! By supporting this project, not only will you have that warm fuzzy feeling of helping Australian children be better familiarised with water, that lofty feeling of helping a fledging business but you will also have huge bragging rights when you tell your friends of your baby’s modelling work. Not to mention Grandma….she’ll have a field day with this one and the golfing-ladies will never hear the end of it!

So what exactly is the SWIMTRAINER “Classic”?
Based on longstanding experience in their own swimming school, FREDS SWIM ACADEMY developed the 3-stage learn to swim SWIMTRAINER "Classic" to aid water familiarization in children while developing the perfect swimming style. Unlike other inflatable aids, the SWIMTRAINER “Classic” places children in the correct posture for swimming and makes use of a kicking reflex that comes naturally to babies.

The SWIMTRAINER "Classic" gives children the necessary sense of achievement and security in the water during every stage of their swimming development. Children will develop a positive life long relationship with the water while having fun. Our specially developed swimming aids are designed according to the child's age and swimming ability (red, orange, yellow) and can be used from babies aged 3 months to promote water familiarisation through to children of 8 years to allow development of the perfect swimming style. Our SWIMTRAINER "Classic":
-promotes an ideal swimming position in the water;
-features inflatable pads to prevent babies slipping through; and
-has an adjustable safety belt to prevent tipping forwards. 


SWIMTRAINER "CLASSIC" RED (3 MONTHS TO 4 YEARS)
*The red SWIMTRAINER "Classic" is used for early habituation with the water and for learning the correct leg movements.
*This SWIMTRAINER "Classic" is designed for babies and toddlers of an approximate weight from 6kg to 18kg and is suited for beginners.


SWIMTRAINER "CLASSIC" ORANGE (2 YEARS TO 6 YEARS)
*The orange SWIMTRAINER "Classic" is used to promote the perfect arm and leg movements.
*This SWIMTRAINER "Classic" is designed for small children with an approximate weight of 15 kg to 30 kg and is suited for beginners and advanced learners.


SWIMTRAINER "CLASSIC" YELLOW (4 YEARS TO 8 YEARS)
*The yellow SWIMTRAINER "Classic" aids in methodical progression towards swimming with no swimming aids.
*This SWIMTRAINER "Classic" is designed for small children with an approximate weight of 20 to 36 kg and is suitable only for advanced learners.

All SWIMTRAINER "Classic" are made off robust, phthalate-free, PVC and have five inflatable chambers. The practical clip fastener and inflatable shoulder straps ensure fast and secure fitting. All SWIMTRAINER "Classic" are certified to meet the Australian Standard AS 1900 - 2002 Flotation aids for water familiarization and swimming tuition. We now need to focus on getting the word out about this great product. We need bright vibrant marketing products and for that we need pictures of gorgeous Australian children frolicking happily in their SWIMTRAINER “Classic".

Funds raised in this campaign will allow us to print business cards, postcards, magnets and calendars and promote the SWIMTRAINER "Classic" in targeted magazines.
