How The Funds Will Be Used
The Challenges
We have had to find spaces to accommodate an entire film crew and cast, which is difficult with an ordinary darkroom location. However, we ended up locking in a educational darkroom that offers ample room to move around and set up our ideal shots and lighting schematics.
We have access to some spectacular high-end gear provided by Swinburne University of Technology. Our choice to shoot on the Arri Alexa with its high dynamic range will allow us to explore the depths in the blacks to help immerse the audience in this tense film. The challenge here is to make sure we have enough lighting to expose while not ruining the developing image we are trying to capture in real time.
There are many other film projects that use Pozible as a platform to realise their films. Standing out from the pack is difficult, but we've been doing it most of our lives. Finally, we are in our element!
