At the end of September I'll be directing my 3rd short film titled The Tunnel. It is my major project for my first year of the Masters in Film and Television at the Victorian College of the Arts.
The Tunnel follows two young men on a hiking trip to an abandoned train tunnel. While there Oscar finds he is confronted with the decision of how much of his youth he will hold onto as he moves onto the next chapter of his life. His best mate Peter plays devil's advocate questioning what is and isn't important to him.

The film is currently in pre-production. I have a brilliant core crew locked in including Jayden Steven as my Cinematographer, Tom Swinburne manning the audio equipment and Clara Jane 1st ADing not to mention the wonderful Jen Johnstone producing.
I am looking for funding to hire vital unit facilities including:
Location! We have an amazing location but it is hard to gain access to. I need money to pay a couple of the crew from the Yarra Valley Railway to transport the cast and crew as well as our equipment to and from the tunnel for the duration of the shoot.
A toilet! We need to get a port-a-potty onto a flat bed train and transport it to the tunnel so our cast and crew don't get cranky!
Generators! We'll need two generators on set. We need one to power lighting while in the tunnel as well as one to make tea and coffee and toasted sandwiches while my amazing team is hard at work setting up shots inside the tunnel!
